In all honesty, coming home with paper towels – when you thought you purchased toilet paper – isn’t nearly as awful as it would first seem. It really becomes a question of adapting to size, kind of like placing an area rug in the closet. It will fit but you’ll have to be cognizant and adaptable to certain spatial limitations. Rest assured though, it will work.

The same cannot be said for the reverse. Trying to utilize toilet paper where paper towel is required is like attempting to stop a locomotive with a hair net.

So, it seems, roll reversals can have almost tragic consequences. The Lesson to be learned here? Aisle Twelve is not the place to be distracted. Act accordingly.
