Dundee Wealth Management

today announced the introduction of The Backyard Drills ™ Caravan to further assist in the growth and development of youth soccer across Canada.

The Caravan – and its energetic crew - will embark on a 12 city, cross-country Canadian tour this summer, aimed at enhancing the skill levels of those involved in the sport at its seed level as well as a simple appreciation for the love of the game. Incorporating straightforward yet innovative fundamentals and techniques, the Caravan will encourage constructive participation from players, from coaches and from parents.

The Caravan is a natural extension to Dundee’s unique Little Chips Soccer Program - which has actively advanced the game, increased each participant’s expertise and encouraged strong and positive community support.

Since its introduction in 2004, the Dundee Little Chips Soccer Program has contributed more than $1.25 million in sponsorship dollars to youth soccer. The program has provided education, inspiration and enjoyment for more than 120,000 children across the nation.

During that time, the Little Chips Soccer Program developed its series of highly-innovative Backyard Drills ™ with the assistance and input from a select group of Ontario Soccer Association certified coaches. The games, drills and exercises found in the program are meant to provide both a fun learning environment for the player and a challenging forum to enhance sporting skills. Neil Lumsden, director of the Backyard Drills ™ Caravan tour, adds “These are games designed to provide mom and dad with the tools to introduce important soccer fundamentals and values at an early age.”

In addition to The Backyard Drills ™ Caravan, the Dundee Little Chips Soccer Program also provides even more support and information through both its online presence and in print.

The Little Chips Soccer website (www.littlechipssoccer.com) for one, is the source for Canadian youth soccer news. Whether a person wishes to advance a skill, needs input on sports nutrition of just wants to learn more about the game, help is just a click away.
Help can also be found in the form of the Dundee Little Chips Magazine and the NEW Backyard Drills ™ Handbook. Both provide an enormous amount of news, entertainment and information on anything and everything an individual might want to know about kids’ soccer in Canada.

Lumdsen, ultimately credits Dundee Wealth Management for its inventive role in the development of Canada’s soccer youth. “It’s an imaginative multi-faceted effort that is making a difference for thousands of young players, on and off the field,” he said.

An educational website, a novel development program and a continuing commitment to human investment – more ways Dundee Wealth Management is fulfilling its promise to the people of Canada and their communities. You might say they’ve become a real team player.
