Sunny Morning Toes
We are there,
again.
We meet every morning
Same time, same place.
I greet her
She greets me
Neither of us speak
Or need to
But we know when she arrives.
Everyone knows.
It's big and it's loud.
And it fills the room.
Except,
it grabs your eyes
Not your ears.
And a little piece of your heart.
I would applaud
except,
there's more tomorrow,
and you never
clap
till the end.
